Poster Presentations
Two Groups are making poster presentations at THERMEC’2009
- GROUP A ( Non Students Presentations ) on August 26th, 2009
- GROUP B ( Students Presentations ) on August 27th, 2009
Posters will be displayed in the GALLERY HALL MARITIM located on the first floor at the hotel.
GROUP A (Non Students)
Presentation time: August 26, 2009 from 5.30 pm to 7.15 pm
Authors making POSTER presentation in Group A are requested to bring their posters to the THERMEC'2009 registration desk on August 26th (between 11.00 am and 12.30 pm) ready for affixing on the poster board with your poster number which will be given to you by the registration staff at desk in Berlin.
Authors in Group A are requested to take their poster off from the poster board on August 26th, 2009 by 7.30 pm in order to make the poster boards available for the next group’s poster affixing in the morning of August 27th, 2009. If you fail to remove your poster by 7.30 pm on August 26th, 2009 after your presentation, the hotel staff will remove the posters. The THERMEC Committee does not take any responsibility for those posters left on the boards after 7.30 pm on August 26th.
GROUP B (Students)
Presentation time: August 27 ,2009 from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm
All students will make poster presentations at THERMEC’2009. Students presentations are included in Group B. Students are requested to bring their posters to the THERMEC'2009 registration desk on August 27th, 2009 (between 11.00 am and 12.30 pm) ready to affix the poster on the boards with poster numbers which will be assigned by the registration staff to students.
Manuscripts submitted by students will be reviewed and included in the THERMEC'2009 Proceeding and in the periodical.
IMPORTANT: Students in Group B are requested to take their poster off from the poster boards by 7.00 pm on August 27th, 2009. Poster boards will be
dismantled by 7.30 pm on August 27th, 2009. The THERMEC Committee does not take any responsibility for those posters left on the boards after 7.30 pm on August 27th.
DO NOT MAIL POSTER
THERMEC Secretariat does not assume any liability for mailed posters. Please DO NOT mail posters to the Conference Secretariat. Please bring your posters with you to the Registration Desk at the MARITIM Hotel on the dates specified above.
Instructions to Poster Presenters
The posters will have a maximum height of 100cm and maximum width of 120cm.
At the registration desk on August 26th, 2009 (Group A) and August 27th, 2009 (Group B), you will be given instructions on how to place your poster with your poster ID on the board allocated. VELCRO tape will be provided to you at the registration desk to affix the posters on the board.
All participants are encouraged to visit poster sessions and authors will be available for discussion.
Profs D. Mantovani, Prof. R. Srinivasan, Dr M. Ionescu and Dr. N. Wanderka are members in charge of Poster sessions and are also on the THERMEC’2009 Students’ Affairs Committee.
