Plenary LecturesTwo Plenary Lectures (one by Prof. Akihisa Inoue, Japan and the other one by Prof. Eduard Arzt, Germany) will take place on Tuesday August 25th, 2009 and Wednesday August 26th, 2009 respectively in the Hall (Conference floor level) of the MARITIM Hotel, Stauffenberg Str. 26, Berlin. Location of Parallel SessionsNine parallel sessions will take place in nine rooms at the MARITIM Hotel. Location of the rooms are given in the hotel floor plan included in this website. Message BoardPersonal Messages and Program changes will be announced on the message board in the registration desk area. We strongly suggest that you check the message board every day. TelephoneSeveral public telephones are available in the hotel foyer. Lunches and CoffeesLunches are served at the MARITIM Hotel on August 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th from 12.45 pm to 2.30 pm. Please make sure that you take your luncheon during this duration. Coffee breaks will take place from August 25th to August 28th in the mid morning and mid afternoon. On August 29th, 2009 there are coffee breaks in the morning only. Office Facilities at HotelIf you want to make any photocopies or any other office work, please contact the Maritim Hotel about these facilities. A hotel will charge you for any items you require. THERMEC’2009 Proceedings Your Manuscript InclusionThe papers will be included in the conference proceedings and in the periodical after the manuscripts are reviewed by the Program Committee. The review process is over but a considerable number of authors have not returned their revised manuscripts to us yet which is causing a delay in the publication of the proceedings. Due to unavoidable circumstances, the conference proceedings is now expected to be ready by December 2009 and Trans Tech Publishers will mail you the copy of the proceedings once ready. Registration DeskAll delegates and companions should register for the conference and collect their name badges and papers at the Registration Desk, which is situated in the Grand Hall at the MARITIM Hotel, Stauffenberg Str. 26, Berlin.
Parallel Sessions at the Maritim HotelFollowing are 9 (nine) parallel sessions (A to I ) which will run concurrently in the nine rooms at the MARITIM Hotel and room names are given below. Please check your paper presentation time and session/date/room location carefully. Room's locations can be found in the hotel floor plan included on this website. The sessions are held in the following rooms in the MARITIM Hotel:
Session Chairpersons and SpeakersChairpersons are requested to meet speakers of their sessions in the allotted session rooms at least 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the session. Speakers are requested to put their power point presentation files on the computer provided in the respective session room with the help of the session monitor. See your session monitor at least 15 mins before the start of the session to load your presentation in the computer. The use of personal computer is not encouraged. We would like to thank each Chairperson for chairing sessions at THERMEC’2009. If, due to unavoidable circumstances, the Chairperson can not chair the allotted session, please contact Professor T.
